Dr. Stephanie is originally from Michigan and brings with her the warmth and hospitality that are characteristics of the Midwest region. Dr. Stephanie’s journey to orthodontics has been a lifelong pursuit. Her unwavering commitment to the field began at a young age, and immediately after completing high school, she was accepted into an accelerated pre-dental program at the University of Detroit Mercy. In this program, she completed her undergraduate studies in just three years, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. She scored in the highest percentile (99.9) on the Dental Admissions Test (DAT) taken amongst all incoming dental students across the nation. Her dedication and high academic standing led to her selection as the sole recipient of a prestigious scholarship for all four years of dental school. She excelled in her dental education, graduating at the top of her class from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and received the honor of being chosen for the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society. Her academic performance was also recognized by the Michigan Dental Association, which presented her with an award for her excellence in dental education. Dr. Stephanie’s commitment to making a difference led her to pursue her dream of becoming an orthodontist. She continued her academic journey at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, specializing in Orthodontics and attaining a Master of Science in Dentistry. Upon completing her educational journey, Dr. Stephanie served on the Michigan Dental Association Committee as an orthodontist for several years.

Dr. Stephanie’s passion for orthodontics began at an early age, inspired by her own personal experiences as a young orthodontic patient. Being self-conscious about her teeth as a child, Dr. Stephanie witnessed the transformative power of orthodontic treatment on her own smile and was inspired to pursue a career in the field to impact her patients in a similar positive manner. Her love for orthodontics is driven by the profound impact it can have on an individual’s life, boosting their confidence, and instilling a positive change. She finds great joy in helping her patients achieve beautiful, life-changing smiles and this is evidently shown through her kind, empathetic, and fun-loving approach to patient care.

Dr. Stephanie has a deep passion for serving the community. During dental school, she served on two mission trips to Costa Rica, where she provided dental care to individuals who had limited access. She traveled throughout Michigan, offering dental care to underserved communities and participated in a state program that visited schools in underserved areas, providing dental care to students and giving educational lectures on oral health. Additionally, she visited women’s shelters, giving presentations on dental care during pregnancy and emphasizing the importance of oral health for infants. 

Outside of the office, Dr. Stephanie enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling around the world, going to the beach, and of course, shopping!
